Movie Review: Pal Pal Dil Ke Saath
Director: V Krishna Kumar
Cast: Ajay Jadeja, Rimpy aka Mahie Gill, Vinod Kambli, Chabi, Satish Shah and Sushma Seth
Directed by V Krishna Kumar, ‘Pal Pal Dil Ke Saath’ appears in cinemas today. Starring Ajay Jadeja, Rimpy aka Mahie Gill, Vinod Kambli, Chabi, Satish Shah and Sushma Seth, this one is too a low bidget flick like ‘Coffee House’. This confers you nothing at all, which you can carry home along. But yes, you can carry home one thing and that is your big disappointment that comes out of the expenses you consumed on buying the ticket for this movie. No story, no screenplay, no performances, no good direction and no acknowledgable work in any department of the film; one can find in this offering. Simply a boring journey to be with.
‘Pal Pal Dil Ke Saath’ is the story of a doting grandmother (Sushma Seth) and her loving grandson (Ajay Jadeja). Jadeja’s parents have died and the grandmother has raised him with care and love. There emerges a quarrel between Jadeja and his garndmother that leads him to leave the house. This situation provides advantage to the villains, who begin to inject poison in grandmother’s mind against her misunderstood grandson and then further go to kill her and grab her property. What the grandson does, when he knows about this, is what forms the rest of the story?
The movie was to release way back in year 2003 but due to some financial problems, the makers could not go for releasing it. Now after six years, they take this responsibility to provide an altogether boring piece to the audiences.
The story is mundane. The screenplay is hardly seen in the film but anyway, it’s nonesense, silly and prattle. The direction is nowhere in the film.Cinemotography is poor. Music has no life at all. Every department of the movie is lackluster. The film reminds you of the era of 60s and 70s when you used to see the films on these kind of subjects.
Everytime when Ajay Jadeja does a film or is seen in movies, a question arises in mind, why did he decide to join films? He cannot even know the ABC of acting. No emotion at all in his acting. No expressions and the things. He should better attach to the cricketing departments. Mahie Gill does not impress. Sushma Seth and the rest of the cast do not raise any spirits.
On the whole, it’s a silly film from all angles. Just avoid it.
