Talking about Film Trade:
Last week, three films hit the screens – Ek – The Power of One, Aa Dekhen Zara and Videsh – Heaven on Earth. All exploded at the box office badly. For quite some time now, no good film has been seen on Bollywood front. Previous releases: Aloo Chaat, Firaq, Staright, Lottery and Barah Aanah appeared the biggest flops as well.
‘Ek – The Power of One’ did somewhat good business than the other two – Aa Dekhen Zara and Videsh. The reason is obvious that it released in many cities and on many screens than the others.
In the second week, Aloo Chat churned some relief for the concerned. But the rest of four Firaq, Barah Aana, Straight and Lottery did not do well. Lottery’s business is that low that one cannot even present it.
