30th March, 2009: ‘Aloo Chaat’ just hit the screens a few days back. Some critics praised the film and Aftab Shivdasani’s acting but most of the reviewers simply screeched on the movie and his acting. And after reading the bad reviews about the flick and his acting, Aftab blasted on the critics.

Yes, he simply lost his temper. He was recently overheard blasting everyone who wrote off his movie. He appeared annoyed with the reviews and then suggested the critics to come with preconceived notions to watch the film. He further told that the critics should look at the positive side of the movie instead of just fixing their eyes on the minus points of the film. And he also expressed that the reviewers should support the industry in this time of crisis.

I even found this movie interesting being a film critic and rated it high. Even talked big about Aftab’s acting skills in the film. But I got disappointed hearing his comments on the critics. By the way, why did he say now that the critics should support the industry in crisis time when his movie was trodden by the critics? Why he did not raise the voice earlier because the crisis has been going on for last many months? Weird…absolutely weird.

Please let us hear your thoughts on this story. Do you agree with Aftab Shivdasani or agree with the film critics?
