Interview:

The coveted TV actor Shaleen Bhanot (from Jabalpur) came to Mumbai on a business trip and ended up being an actor as he first came in reality show on MTV channel then journey on TV started with serials – Saath Phere on Zee TV, Kulvaddhu on Sony TV wherein he was admired in a negative role as ‘Agni’. He has also done a cameo on the show Kajjal (Sony TV) and currently he is seen on Star plus’ serial ‘Sangam’.

He is best remembered for his wife-beating act in ‘Saat Phere’ and is now gaining popularity in serial Nagin on Zee TV.

Let’s chat with the dashing actor as he chews his views especially with our journalist, Mala Shetty who catches him in a good mood.

How about your personal life and what about the marriage plans?

Right now I am single, definitely…Is Janam Mein Shadi Karoonga. I don’t have anybody in my life right now but looking out for some soul mate for sure.

Work, music and dance.

What type of music, you want to be with?

I like to hear classical songs of famous Pakistani Sufi singer Abida Parveen and Jagjit singh.

Do you like dancing, as you have learnt Salsa?

Yes, I love dancing.

Your favorite holiday spot…

London, it is the place where I find a lot of people like me and I love the city for that reason.

Any plans to hit the big screen?

Yes I am trying for films and will definitely launch myself in near future.
